After completing my MBBS from Nagpur, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, I did my internship from Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi.

 

I worked as a consultant in Interglobe Aviation following which I moved to Mumbai for my Orthopaedic residency. There is where I found my love for Joint Replacement and arthroscopic ligament reconstruction surgeries, for which I joined Smith and Nephew Minimally Invasive Joint replacement fellowship programme in Mumbai. Here I visited many hospitals as a fellow and got to know the extensive and specialised work done.

I thereafter moved back to Delhi to practice at Apollo Hospital.  It is while here, that I received an opportunity to work in a government medical college and hospital. This also allowed me to train and teach orthopaedic resident doctors and MBBS students with the skills I have developed over a period of time.

To further enhance my education and skill in Joint Replacement & Reconstruction Surgery, I joint  OCM Klinik, Germany where I gained  immense confidence and refinement. I also did FIFA Diploma in Sports Medicine to understand thoroughly the code of sports medicine practice and treatment protocols practiced across the globe. Lastly My love for children made me do a fellowship in Paediatric fractures helping me refine my skills in paediatric trauma management.

 

I am married to Dr. Sharwari D. Dua who is a Consultant in Internal Medicine & Endocrinology working with prime hospitals in South Delhi like Fortis group, Madhukar Rainbow Hospital, Rosewalk Healthcare, etc.
